A Ceremony to Meet Your Creativity for Alyson Charles’ Ceremony Circle Podcast
A decade ago, when I first launched my shamanic healing practice, I saw a young woman. Our session was virtual. She was in Brooklyn and I was in Minnesota.
I didn’t forget her because: 1.) I “saw” a giant tree outside her window as we worked together and she confirmed that there was, in fact, a gorgeous tree there (that was encouraging to my own spirit work!) and 2.) something really interesting happened afterwards.
After our work together (where she told me about her spiritual calling to become a healer) she went on—-quite quickly—-to become a very public presence in the shamanic healing sphere.
I remember feeling surprised and how effortlessly (or so it seemed!) she said YES to her calling and it made me remember a powerful story my teacher told me about listening to the spirits.
