“Wish You Were Here” 30 x 48″ Acrylic and Oil pastel on canvas. Original Available 900 US
After returning from an adventure to Japan, I was inspired by the artists work that I saw. When I see bears in the woods it always puts me in AWE. I am so grateful for the grounded and warm nature of bears.
“Feel Free” Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas. Original available. 900.00 US
While studying with a shaman in the Amazon, I worked with a plant called Ajo Sacha. One night after driking a tea of this master medicine plant, I had a dream about lions. There was a pride of lions and I, too, was a liion. The lions began to move out into the wide open bushveld and I hesitated. This was a dream about freedom and there was a part of me who didn’t believe I qualified. Lions are free and thanks to that plant, I am in the process of becoming more and more free. I hope that the viewer will also feel some of that freedom and feel free to ……make art…..to make a different choice….to express themselves fully….to enjoy…to take a wholly different path.
“You are SO MAGNIFICENT!” 60 x 48 inches Acrylic and oil pastel. Diptych. Original available 1200 US
I feel like we can never be reminded enough of this fact! We keep forgetting. Everything in nature is conspiring to lift us up and protect us from feeling lost or alone. May you be surrounded by kind elephants, fierce + focused tigers, and kindly clouds!
“Quest” 36” x 36” acrylic and oil pastel. Original painting is available. 800.00 US
I had a beautiful experience supporting my friend @little_whale_music in her
Vision quest this year in Colombia. As I was praying for her in the sweat lodge, I had a beautiful vision of her being kept beautiful company by many spirit deer and enormous cosmic + sacred flowers made of spirit. After four days and four nights without food or water on the mountain, she returned and said she was not hungry or thirsty once. Lauren’s music is such powerful medicine- I highly recommend listening. Have you ever considered a quest? I’m going to do my first one in 2024 and I’m really excited for that chance to sit in nature with myself.
“Let love Increase” 30″ Acrylic with oil pastel. Original is available. 750.00 US
This summer when our marriage was going through a challenge I did a lot of things to work through it, but one magical thing I did was place a pair of zebras in the love corner of our house (An ancient Feng SHUI cure) and – it might sound weird, but those two zebras gave me hope that forces greater than ourselves could solve the unsolve-able. And here we are! I’m so grateful!
“Are You Ready to FLY?” 48” x 48” acrylic and oil pastel on canvas, dyptich. Original available 800.00 US

“Warm Blankets Make Everything Better” 36′ x 36″ Acrylic + oil pastel on canvas. Original available. 900.00 US
My dad who is 81 got COVID and ended up in the hospital on Friday. It was a long 9 hour wait in the ER before a room opened up. He was so cold and had the chills off and on. The kind nurses kept bringing us hospital blankets (those thick flannel things?) but no matter – my dad was freezing. I kept thinking/ I wish I had one of our soft blankets from home- he’d be warm in a second? Finally I threw my down jacket over him and we fashioned a ”hat” out of his polar fleece shirt (that he was not allowed to wear over his hospital gown) to help him retain heat. When he finally got into a hospital room- I had to take my coat back and no visitors were allowed— he shared that he was cold all night until he asked a nurse for one of the disposable gowns which helped trap some heat. When you’re 115 pounds and have zero fat it’s tough to stay warm.
Such a simple thing..,to be warm and cozy…but so many are not?
Writing the morning pages help me identify how upset and grief filled about my dad and not being able to easily find comfort for him. Not being able to visit him yesterday, I decided to paint this imaginary warm
Blanket full of beautiful and protective beasties. Warm blankets make everything better.
Writing morning pages can help you see what you are feeling so that you can creatively express it!
“Your Heart Can Hold It All” 36” x 36” acrylic and oil pastel on canvas. Original available. 900.00 US.
A beautiful friend of mine, Sabrina B Barr, has been posting photos of New York City that really touch me. She posted a beautiful one of Central Park last summer that was filled with humans lollygagging on the grass. I loved it! A few days later I sat in meditation with the intention to “rest in my heart” and suddenly I was shown how my heart was unexpectedly GINORMOUS-like it was connected to the Galactic HEART. My heart could hold everything! Inside there, I saw Central Park filled with people picnicking and resting.
My heart (and yours too?), it turns out, has infinite capacity to hold everybody and everything…even the people that I have a hard time accepting. There’s SO MUCH ROOM! There was also a disco ball, but I digress. I created this art to remember the vision. My heart has previously unknown capacity and I can rest there…along with EVERYTHING. I hope that the viewer will remember the innocence of the sweet and wild things inside themselves and find rest wherever they are.

Song by Nick Barbachano
Arbolito divino, raíces profundos, abraza el mundo
Y nuestro camino, con tu medicina
Todas las plantas, las plantas divinas mari, mari ri ri ri ri
Yagesito curaca, de la selvacita, la pachamamita
Trae sabiduría a nuestra familia, trae alegría
La liana que guía, Capi capi capi capi capi
Ayahuasquita cura, cura mi cuerpo, con tu amorcito
Cura mi mente viejo doctorcito, cura mi gente
Poderoso abuelito, vovo vovo vovo vo vo
Trai nai nai con la vida, vida de la baila
Cura con la waira, limpia limpia taita vibrando con la walca
Con la madre selva, Taita curaca ara ra ra ra ra ra ra ra
Trai nai nai nai nai nai
